The governor of Utah, who says gay people ought to rely on the majority to do the right thing when it comes to discrimination, met with some gay rights group leaders the other day. Nothing was accomplished, but the gay group leaders can backstop their claims to leadership with the face time and the guv can claim he's open-minded.
