SC Senator Jim DeMint expected Indiana voters to flock to his anointed, sanctified, bought-and-paid-for US Senate candidate, the grandiloquently named Marlin A. Stultzman.
Indiana Republican primary voters instead replied "STFU" and sent DeMint a big ol' Costco-sized can o' whoop-ass.
It's a serious rebuff for the wattle-bound senator, who only draws a paycheck as a South Carolina senator but acts like he is a senator at large for the whole country. In Britain he'd be a fussy, seriously closeted, public school prefect demanding the worship of twelve year-old boys.
