Some people seem to believe Dr. King's message is whatever white folk are comfortable with. And, as always, the unspoken message is, "Wait."

It's remarkable to read from a technology expert who represents candidates and legislators who oppose the advancement of civil rights in this country cavils about who makes a statue and what it looks like, or who lectures African-Americans about things a white guy thinks are insignificant from the standpoint of his paymasters.
