POLITICO has learned South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint’s political action committee will devote at least $250,000 to airing a 30-second commercial beginning Tuesday that ties Democratic nominee Chris Coons to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and brands O’Donnell as an outsider who stands up to “party bosses and power brokers.”
