Fly me to the moon

Another holiday cracker- this time two versions of one idea.

First, film pioneer George Melies' 1902 sci-fi classic, 'A Voyage to the Moon.' This version of the silent film has a music track and a charming, French-accented, narrative. In 1997 we made a pilgrimage to Melies' grave at Pere-Lachaise in Paris.



Next, 1995's Smashing Pumpkins video, "Tonight, Tonight"- a smart reimagining of the original, and one of the group's best:
