So many projects, so little reported result

As promised, we've done some updating research on Rev. Ken Hutcherson's antigay campaigns. Bullying Mount Si High School staff seems to be his current preoccupation. He's gone from complaining he felt dissed when he spoke on tolerance at an MLK Day event (see below, on how much tolerance is enough), and now frets about a Gay-Straight Alliance poster at the school serving as the emblem for a "sex club" among impressionable teens.

These new, and lesser, preoccupations will doubtless dismay the hordes of the the faithful going to the AGN Financial Network website only to find nothing has been added since it went up a couple of months ago. No new news, no word on how many shares Hutch controls. Check for yourselves: agnfinancial.org.

What of Hutch's other plan to bring Microsoft to heel? Recall that he told the shareholder meeting in November he is a black man with a righteous cause and a host of powerful white people behind him.

We keep looking and we can't find out who they are, or what role the plan to play. Seems like Hutch'd want to roll out that roster pronto. Particularly in light of this bit of news from THe Stranger:

How Did This Happen on Ken Hutcherson’s Watch?

Washington state has the faggiest state legislature in the whole faggy country.

The Washington state Legislature has more openly gay lawmakers than any other state in the country, edging out California after a new young representative was appointed to the statehouse this year.

Marko Liias, a 26-year-old Democrat from Mukilteo, started the legislative session earlier this month, replacing former Rep. Brian Sullivan, who left the Legislature for the Snohomish County Council. Liias’ arrival gives Washington six openly gay lawmakers, ahead of California’s five.

Some of California’s openly gay lawmakers are lesbians, while all of Washington state’s openly gay lawmakers are gay men. So Ken won’t think the state has totally gone to hell. But still.'
