Speaking of the elderly (see below), The Times does itself proud with a profile of singer Eartha Kitt, still knocking them dead at 81. We remember how her career was pronounced over when she challenged President Johnson's wife over Vietnam at a White House performance in 1967. Thank goodness times can change.
