Liz Benjamin had the odd report this morning that a marginal third party (the Independent Greens) is trying to put a Bloomberg/Paul ticket on the ballot in Virginia.

This, however, may require Bloomberg's sign-off.

"He hasn't made any decisions and hasn't had a chance to speak with [party chairman Carey] Campbell yet," emails Bloomberg spokesman Stu Loeser. "But this is a call for post-partisanship that Mayor Bloomberg hopes the major parties will hear."
