Fortunately the Annoying Day Job has enough slack to allow keeping up with things reasonably well, and a while back our Inner Tech Geek led us to shift our bookmarks and email to Google so we can reach them from anywhere. So it ain't perfect but we're still in bidness.
Speaking of tech geeks, Wesley Donehue has turned his original blog into an interesting primer on integrating tech into marketing and campaign messaging. Having labored in those vineyards for some years, especially on the wordsmithing side, we like reading his stuff: like the recent post on how you can use tech to reach influential people who wouldn't know what to do with a computer if it came up and bit them on the ankle.
Lately we've noticed a video he's posted on how he goes about aggregating stuff for Political Net News- the Arts & Letters Daily of SC Politics- and kindly featured Waldo in the process. We appreciate the nod.
But time and campaigns wait for no man, and The Palmetto Scoop presses ahead in our occasional absences with tales of airplanes and fires. And today, in a post that underscores the incoherence of Republican Party thought- on Senator Jim DeMint refusing to quaff the KoolAid at Hank Paulson's stand- McScoop pretty much sums up the operating ethos of his blog:
...everything is black and white and revolves around getting television time by acting like a child. But that does absolutely nothing to help the situation.
