"And this weekend I'll, um, you know, write another book on constitutional law- and throw a cocktail party for Al Sharpton."

142 "Y'know"s in one interview. No word on the, um, "um" count.

UPDATE: Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan's daughter endorses Mrs. Schlossberg, summing up her qualifications thusly:
Caroline Kennedy is brilliant, disciplined, a great wit and a wonderful hostess.
Inexperience? Maura Moyhihan says this:

To say that Caroline is unqualified because she has never held elected office is simply mistaken. Neither had my father, Pat Moynihan - who is now regarded as one of the best legislators in the history of our state.

Well, never mind four years on NY Governor Harriman's staff, 1954-58; service as assistant secretary of labor, 1961-1965; director of the Harvard/MIT Joint Center on Urban Studies, 1965-68, counselor to President Nixon for urban affairs, 1969-71; ambassador to India, 1973-75; US ambassador to the United Nations, 1975-76- then US senator, 1977-2001.
