Like Mark Twain, Waldo can take a compliment any day

One of the serendipitous joys of the blogdom is you end up making connections in the most unexpected places.

Waldo stumbled across The Delaware Libertarian shortly after launching his little daily writing exercise and immediately recognized the writing style as that of a longtime college friend. Cross-posting and commenting on each other's work led to Waldo's becoming a sort of honorary Delaware blogger and making a number of friends across the electron chains that make up our online communities.

What I love about my Delaware friends is that we can go at it like like hammers and tongs and remain friends. My theory is in a state so small, you gotta keep some level of civility, even when you don't see your sparring partners very often.

Waldo thanks his defenders. While he can take his licks and rally for the next round, it's nice to know somebody's paying attention and cares about the fight.

  1. You've got to get yourself up here to little old Delaware for a visit sometime, Waldo !

  2. TPS is a total jerk. I chanced across an article on his site that I wanted to write about, but refused to do so. I found another source.

Hey Waldo, you should try to make it up here some time this summer for a Delaware BBQ ! It would be great fun. I even have an "I (heart) Sarah Palin" shirt for you !

Carry on the good fight, my friend.
