Our Danny loves that seductive "You Got Mail!" voice on his dialup-

You are now entering Daniel J Cassidy's fact-free zone, where he highlights a problem the private marketplace hasn't solved, and, offering no solution, slags a man who has been out of office since January 2001:

US Ranks 28th in Internet Connection Speed

Quick! Someone call Al Gore.
Curiously, Internet connections are fastest in the "liberal" Northeast and slowest in Cassidy's beloved tiny-population, high-federally-subsidized, devotedly Republican states:
According to the CWA report, the fastest download speeds in the United States are in the northeastern parts of the country while the slowest are in states such as Alaska, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
But what makes this story interesting is the utter disconnect between the facts of the story and the spin the Great Hater puts on it.Last time we looked, Al Gore was not the czar of cable companies.
The cable companies, logically, by free market rights, aren't building out low population density states. Hence the President's call for a federal boost to get the Internet out there. But that would be government intervention.
Really, Savvy....try to do better. Pat Buchanan's been an open racist and homophobe for decades, and he manages to get major media coverage daily.
You, too, can aspire to that, but right now your stories are as boring as The Palmetto Scoop's...and that's not saying much.
