SC state rep. Mike Pitts has introduced legislation to deny the use of paper currency within the state's borders. He'd rather go back to silver and gold coinage.
Pitts also acknowledges his bill has no chance of passing, and would be found unconstitutional if it did.
It's nice to see the state's majority party is earning media as the party of new ideas.
