Another fine mess

Here's a fine new SC economic development story from Newsweek:

Staffer Carl Sullivan makes a convincing argument that if SC's political class isn't the most corrupt, it's the most stupid and embarrassing.

The odd bit is Newsweek didn't call Adam Fogle- who "earned media" with the mag in 2007-08. One would have thought they'd have kept him on speed dial after his legendary- he says so himself- announcement he and a handful of GOP politicos 100 to 200 miles inland are scared to death by gay British tourists on South Carolina beaches.

Of course, Fogle also lies in bed and night, terrified, that a one night appearance in Columbia by drag artist RuPaul is sucking money from public safety funding.
