Oklahoma Senator James Inhofe- one of SC Senator Jim DeMint's purest of the pure- has gone way off the rez: he's opposing DeMint's pledge to quit smoking crack till after the elections in November.
Inhofe, the guardian fiscal of responsibility who had the government fly him to Copenhagen to announce, at the climate change conference, that it didn't exist, and who met with no one while there (he had a press conference only one reporter bothered to attend), is also the anti-homosexalist who hauled a big photo of his family onto the Senate floor to declare none of them in history have ever been gay. At the same time, he refuses to take action against his colleague's- Senator Tom Coburn- allegation that lesbianism is so rampant in SE Oklahoma school girls can only to to the bathroom one at a time.
