John McCain's generation defies the appellation "greatest"

Remember Uncle Grumpy's list of 1100 flag officers who think repealing DADT  is a bad idea? Turns out they are on the cutting edge of the US military. They range in age from the 70s to 99. Some are actually dead. Some don't even remember signing it.
