Speaking of FITS News- some days he's just the joke that keeps on laughing- today he's praising reactionary Governor Bob McDonnell- who revoked state employees' protection against being fired for being gay within days of taking office- for appointing some guy head of the education department who's black and isn't Jim Rex.

This at the same time as McDonnell's successor as attorney general has instructed VA colleges and universities to stop enforcing their non-discrimination policies against gay people.McDonnell has issued a non-binding edict that says, never mind what the AG says, but nothing I say has the force of law.
