FITS News is peddling unsourced GOP talking points by claiming Michigan congresscritter Bart Stupak leads "at least a dozen Democrats who would vote against the Senate bill – or more than enough to kill it."
What Folksy's too lazy to do is point out, as Rachel Maddow did this hour on MSNBC, that Stupak used to be claiming he had up to twenty unnamed congressmembers doing his bidding. Of the "at least a dozen," Stupak won't say who they are, and FITS can't say if the headcount is true or not.
Meantime, Maddow reported a whip count indicates Stupak has maybe four members in his little club.
Give it another week and Stupak will be all alone- what Roger Ebert calls "Squeaky the Chicago Mouse," drifting down the river crying, "Raise the drawbridge! I have a huge penis!"
