I'm off for the Memorial Day barbecue with family and neighbors this afternoon.
While food and fun will be the main agenda, we'll be remembering loved ones who fought in past and present wars. In my case, ten uncles in World War II- four of whom stormed the beaches on D-Day- my dad, who fought in Korea- and two cousins doing the duty they signed up for in Iraq.
