Expensive Damn Yankees

It'll be interesting to hear what South Carolina's two senators say when South Carolina needs hurricane relief again- as it assuredly will one day.

Both Lindsay Graham and Tim Scott voted against the Hurricane Sandy relief bill for the Northeast.  Scott, who with his vote exemplified the GOP view that diversity means everybody thinks the same but a few look different, followed Graham down a hypocrisy trail Graham knows well.

Think Progress found 31 of the 36 senators opposing the hurricane aid have requested mergency relief for their states in the past, among them-

Lindsey Graham (R-SC): Requested disaster relief after freezing and boasted of obtaining emergency drought relief.
