Sen. Lindsey Graham is expected to officially introduce his bill to impose a federal ban on abortions after five months on Thursday, sources said Wednesday.
The South Carolina Republican said in an interview Tuesday that he will be the lead sponsor of the bill. It’s unclear how many co-sponsors he will have. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) had been expected to be the chief sponsor but said he was fine with Graham instead taking the lead.
