Barronelle Stutzman, the martyr-florist of Richland, Washington, continues traveling the nation, offering herself up as a relic of the true faith. This week, it's the Southern Baptist Convention.

The group's president made headlines announcing his will never conduct a same-sex marriage.

This raises, anew, one of the more threadbare arguments of opponents- that marriage equality will force ministers to perform such ceremonies.

None have answered, however, why any couple would want the officiant of the happiest day of their lives- for many, a day delayed for years, even decades- to be someone who loathes them and hates the mere thought of being present?
