Coming: how this is all part of God's plan for his party.

Here is a story of truly breathtaking cynicism, amorality and ostentatious Christian preening by a couple of married Republican Teabaggers who conducted not only the state's business but a torrid extramarital affair as members of the Michigan legislature.

Fearful their "do as we say, not as we do" personal caucusing and  jiggery-pokery policy-making would be become public, they concocted what only Blackadder's Baldrick would call "a clever plan." The man of the couple sent out a pseudonymous email all over the state, accusing himself of having an extramarital affair, all right- with another man.

He figured that once the dust settled and he had proven his innocence from such a truly loathsome charge, the truth of his "traditional adultery", as National Organization for Marriage might call it, would dismissed by their co-religionists with a few well-timed born-againisms.

“It’s what they won’t expect,” Courser said. “At that point, if they don’t have some really, really, really offensive stuff ... it will be tough for them to bring it after this.”
The mass email calls Gamrat “a tramp” and claims she “has covered” for Courser “and her involvement is the real reason she was thrown out” of the House Republican caucus in April.
“In a controlled burn, you do a little bit of truth mixed in with a lot of lies,” Courser explained to Graham.
I can't do this one justice in a few sentences. You have to  read the article to appreciate the finely nuanced reeks of hypocrisy emanating from these two.
