NOM Champions of Marriage, like NOM itself, are crying the fiscal blues. Well, actually, the reds.

We're tracking the Real Clear Politics averaging of all polls and posting how the NOM champions are faring in the overall Trumparty nomination race. RCP ranks the top 14 of the candidates: Jim Gilmore remains the Invisible Man.

Since last report, NOM's only viable Champion, seems to be gaining more traction with Republican voters when he stresses guns, Nazis and Muslims. He remains the #2. Ted Cruz, mired at #6, has ticked up to  little above his August standing.

NOM Champion Bobby Jindal had continues to eke out a lead over Champion Rick Santorum, holding fast to 11th place.

As a group, NOM's Champions now command 28.6% of the Republican vote.

Bad news, however, looms. Third quarter campaign reports the kids table candidates are as keen on deficit spending as any Republican since Dick Cheney declared deficits don't matter:

The nearly invisible former New York Governor George Pataki had the worst burn rate at 226 percent, meaning for every dollar he raised he spent 2 dollars and 26 cents. South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham and Rand Paul weren’t far behind, with burn rates of 188 and 181 respectively. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, Mike Huckabee and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum also had burn rates over 100 percent.

Here, from the RCP averages for September 24-October 12, is the latest standings, preceded by the weeks since we began tracking the NOM Champions:
