HB2 Update- Reidsville gets its first all-in discriminators!

Well, up to a point.

Congratulations to Jeff and Leigh Ann Martin, who run Martin Medical in Reidsville, North Carolina! They’re the first businesspeople in nine days willing to step up today and declare they want to discriminate to the maximum extent HB2 allows!

North Carolina Values Coalition, which runs the Daily Discriminators List at its KeepNCSafe.org site, also keeps a list of faint-hearted spitemongers who want to turn customers away but are afraid to stand alongside their beliefs in the public arena where they do business. They claim 401 businesses support HB2 as of today, but the last entry they added was #332, on March 31, 2016, at 5.41 pm.

Their public list, which was rolled out March 29 with 55 names, has only added 18 in the month of April. At that rate, it will take them 1405 years and eight months to sign up all the businesses in the Tarheel State.

And remember: there are over 821,000 businesses in North Carolina.
