Today's Breitbart scoop: CNN scorns #AltMedia- eight years ago

James O'Keefe is on unsupervised release again.

Breathlessly, Breitbart says the failed welfare pimp now has 119 hours!- count 'em!- of tape proving CNN staff don't like #AltFact fabulists ("CNN editors displaying their leftist bias. Editors can be heard claiming there is “no debate” on climate change while calling Fox News “unbearable").

And he says he's got 100 more!

The kicker?

It's well down in the story:

The audio was recorded in 2009 by an anonymous whistleblower inside CNN’s Atlanta headquarters, identified only as “Miss X.”

O'Keefe earns his scoops every day, the old-fashioned way:

“If you have hidden audio recordings, videotapes or documents inside of a newsroom or media institution, and the material is good enough, I will pay you $10,000,” O’Keefe continued.

As always, the #AltMedia ignores the fact the US government used to require TV news to be- ahem- fair and balanced.

It was an FCC rule called the fairness doctrine. Republicans despised it. They spent forty years working to get it repealed, and they won. They argued that the advent of cable meant every point of view could have its own channel. And that is how Fox News came to be.
