a living wage is $11 per hour, and has started paying its people that.
A number of Tar Hell cities and counties have thought that an excellent idea, too.
Raleigh, for example, boosted the minimum wage for its employees to a living wage set at $13.76/hr in January.
But North Carolina's Safe Peeing Law says most can't have that bump:
