Greatness in the Presidency

"[President Warren Harding's] speeches left the impression of an army of pompous phrases moving over the landscape in search of an idea;  sometimes these meandering words would actually capture a straggling thought and bear it triumphantly as a prisoner in their midst, until it died of servitude and overwork.”

-former Treasury Secretary William G. McAdoo, 1920

I’m telling you, I used to use the word incompetent. Now I just call them stupid. I went to an Ivy League school. I’m very highly educated. I know words, I have the best words...but there is no better word than stupid. Right?

- Donald Trump, Hilton Head Island, SC, December 20, 2015
