The poor are always with us
Senator Jim DeMint says he only kinda, sorta cares about the 14,400 South Carolinians who will lose unemployment insurance thanks to Kentucky Senator Jim Bunning's hold on a temporary continuation bill. He likes Bunning's argument that the bill should be subject to the pay-as-you-go rules Bunning voted against recently.
