The Laurens County SCGOP has become famous today for its new 28-point purity test for candidates to get the Skeleton Free Closet Certificate.

Not in Clinton, nosirree!
You'd think the county party would have other things to work on. Their website's last article was put up in August 2009; the last comment on the site is from 2007; and, according to them, George W. Bush is still president.
It's not the first time this sort of idea has come up. In 2009 a congressional-level purity test called for 8 out of 10 correct answers to be Reaganesque.
The trouble is, you can never really be sure about these things. It's like looking behind a green door.
