Small steps forward

 

Here's another example of how hatefully, pointlessly destructive life in the closet is, just to make other  insecure people feel feel better about themselves.

Most people know how close twins are.

Jason Collins, the NBA player who came out the other day, has a twin brother. 

Until just recently, Collins couldn't tell him he was gay.

Thank goodness his brother rose to the occasion:

Today, Jason has taken a huge weight off his shoulders. And I've never been more proud of him.

Maybe we can still one day get to a point where this sort of stupid stuff is no longer necessary. When you can't tell your closest kin who you are, well, like is pretty fucked.

I know.
