Next, I want to lower high school graduation rates. Lower wages mean more jobs come to South Carolina

Over at Palmetto Scoop, Adam Fogle ( below, right, via Brad Warthen's blog, sharing a manly, Republican hug with the governor of Georgia) is still bragging about how much money he's cost his home state in lost tourism dollars and general reputation:

The image “http://blogs.thestate.com/bradwarthensblog/images/2007/09/27/fogleadam.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

During The Palmetto Scoop’s 15 month history, we have developed a knack for breaking major news stories that the mainstream media might miss or ignore. Take for instance the recent “So Gay” story — love it or hate it — that we broke which quickly became international news.

The reason we can do this is that we aren’t a major news outlet and we communicate one on one with every day Joes like us — hard working, tax paying citizens who care about making South Carolina a better place. Couple that with the fact that we are read by major news outlets and key insiders, and what gets written here quickly trickles up the chain.

I’m not saying all this to toot my own horn, but rather to make a point.

Although it's not the one he says he wants to make, apparently the point is that gays who visit, or live in, South Carolina don't fit his def of "every day Joes like us — hard working, tax paying citizens who care about making South Carolina a better place."

We're still waiting to hear what other publicly-funded public events in Columbia should be defunded to make the Fogle lad sleep knowing there's enough cops out there protecting conservative bloggers.
