Adam Fogle: making South Carolina safe for straight people born here

Mr. South Carolina Tourism, fresh from ensuring foreign gay tourists pass over the Palmetto State while staying silent as the grave about state tax dollars being wasted on a boondoggle to bring 120 German legislators to Myrtle Beach to promote trash tourism, is hot and up in arms about another topic (and not Olympic gymnast blowup dolls, either): he believes the only rich people who should have an influence on SC politics are one Howard Rich, who is straight and therefore eligible for entry- into the state:
The first spot features Ketner and her father Ralph telling us that they have a lot of money, that she’s proud to have been born in another state, and that she’s very forgetful.

Quinby -You Democrats (and I include Warren Tompkins in that mix) are so worried about maintaining the status quo that you will go to the ends of the earth vilify Rich and flush our children down the toilet.

Under Inez our system went from bad to worse. Under Rex it’s gone from worse to worst. Our children would get a better education in a cold war Soviet prison than in most public schools in this state.

It’s time for change. And Rich offers that change with no strings attached. Unlike your rent-seeking in-state special interests, he doesn’t gain a damn thing.

I mean, God forbid a philanthropist comes in and offers to help save our kids from a future as barren as yours.

Plus, y’all are all too eager to spend taxpayer money to lure gay tourists who will in turn spend more money so we can spend that on gay festivals to lure more gay tourists who spend more money to use for more gay festivals, ad nauseam. And most of those folks aren’t just from out of state, they’re from out of the country. So why the uproar when an independently wealthy person spends his out of state money — not taxpayer money — here to help rebuild our failing education system?

You’re fine with out of state money from gays, but not from a good Samaritan looking to bring about positive change for EVERYONE? I don’t get it.

So Adam- explain it.
