The imagery of the Republican right is nothing if not consistent. Remember how Karl Rove sneered at Obama as that cool guy at the country club, sipping a martini and making snide remarks about everyone that passes by* (Pssst...did I mention that he's black?).

Then Limbaugh, subtle as ever, says Americans gotta bend over and grab their ankles because Obama's dad was black:

Now cometh SC's own Senator Jim DeMint, telling The Federalist Society Obama's economic

plan is "a mugging."

(Pssst....did I mention that he's black?).

* Not, of course, at Massa Dawson's club.
