I believe that 12th grade wasn't added throughout all South Carolina schools until the 1940s. But it's not like only having 11 grades up until after World War II hurt us, or anything, right?
It just seems wrong somehow to offer less education. It's the worst sort of backsliding, and all the more irritating when offered by people whose mantra has been "cut taxes! cut taxes!" for decades.
