Making sense of a diminished world

CBC regrets the end of the Jewish community in Yemen. Given the recent venting by Teabag leader Mark Williams, CBC's conclusion is all the more apt:
In a century of barbarity that left hundreds of millions dead or displaced around the globe, the destruction of Jewish communities throughout the Middle East remains a largely forgotten event. But that doesn’t make it any less tragic.
