Mrs. Schlafly's record suggests otherwise



Republicans aren't unsympathetic to women in the workplace, Tennessee Rep. Marcia Blackburn said Sunday. In fact, she said, her party has "led the fight for women's equality."

    I've always been impressed by Ms. Schlafly as she wrote books, traveled the country giving lectures and attending meetings, etc., all the while telling American women to stay at home, keep their heads down and their mouths shut. I've been watching her and marveling for a few decades now. What a piece of work! Blackburn and Schlafly - what a depressing pair!
