The President prefers orbs that just glow without getting overheated.

Venerators of Ronald Reagan relics, politicovangelicals, and Young Earthers are all gettin' ecstatic on the President's decision to withdraw from the Paris climate accords.

Lost in the offering of sacrifices to Simi Valley's moldering cold warrior's bones is that the exit will take four years.

Lost in translation was how Democrats need- the President said- to stop being obstructionists and join with him to renegotiate American back into the Paris framework, or redo the whole deal on terms that suit him better.

But why renegotiate a deal covering a thing the President says doesn't exist?

That's got me puzzled. I hope someone can explain it.

Meantime, nations representing 4.3% of the world's 7.5 billion people are sitting out the deal: Nicaragua (6.08 million); Syria (18.5 million and declining), and the 326.4 million hostages the President holds.

I'm also puzzled how the President can align so tightly with a war criminal he says he wants to eliminate (Bashar al-Assad), and a war criminal Ronald Reagan was willing to risk impeachment to eliminate (Daniel Ortega).

I hope someone can explain that, too.
