Just as President Bush 2 did in 2001, Mr Trump is just trying to ignore it to death. President Clinton issued proclamations in 1999 and 2000. Then it was eight years before a US president did it again.

GOP stalwarts who fret the President is not a real Republican can consider that argument put down as of today. There are no White House events for June; there sure as hell are no LGBT Trump administration officials. No ambassadors, no judicial nominees.

Nothing is more mainstream than dishing out snubs and second-classery to the mean gays, ungrateful that the President protects them from Muslims coming in as refugees to lop off their heads.

The President earned his stripes today.

And he put to lie the canard that Ivanka and Boy Kushner are his conscience on squishy social issue crap.
