After a month of relentless self-promotion, Deplorable Pride's fundraising prowess lives down to its name.

Having raised $5 in the last seven days, Brian Talbert is rattling a stick in the swill bucket again.

He wants $100,000. He told newspapers last month it was for a lawsuit to force Charlotte Pride to let his float celebrating President Trump in the August 27 parade. But neither version of his Gofundme.com appeal says anything about what the money is for.

Both, however, make clear the money goes to Brian Talbert personally.
