Congressman John "Tailpipe" Dingell, 84, will seek another term in the fall. Dingell inherited his seat in 1955 when his father, who'd filled it from 1938, died.
"GOP" seems increasingly to mean "Granddaddy's Old Party." The CPAC claque voted overwhelmingly for Congressman Ron Paul for President in 2012, when he'll be 77.
