Birthday: "Glass of water for Mr Grainger!"

Wilberforce Clayborn Humphries, sometimes known as John Inman, was born this day in 1935.

He retired to the eternal Grace Bros. canteen ten years ago.

    I loved "Are You Being Served"! The entire cast was wonderful and John Inman was the spice that made the thing special. Thank you for posting this extended bio/interview.
