I have the best words.

The *resident loves to brag about his brilliance in getting Justice Gorsuch on the Supreme Court bench. Here's what he said at Gorsuch's swearing-in in April:

“I've always heard that the most important thing that a president of the United States does is appoint people, hopefully great people like this appointment, to the United States Supreme Court,” Trump said. “And I can say, this is a great honor.”

“And I got it done in the first 100 days,” he added to laughter. “You think that's easy?”

Of course, Trump wasn't the one who held the seat open for over a year.

Trump wasn't the one who threw out the Senate rules to squeak the nomination through, either.

That was all the work of the man the *resident beats like a drum on Twitter every day- Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Here's a reminder of just how slick an operator McConnell was.
