Over among the quality press, it's another bitch-slapping with lilies week.
They get this way from time to time. And other times, too, like this one. And this one.
One time when The Garnet Spy- one of today's antogonists- was feeling more than a little atrabilious he shared the love, commenting here, "And, I know about effluent. I read your blog."
Let's try to recap.
Slut Wallah dissed A site called Palladian View that, despite its garbled architectural metaphors, is run by a former state GOP chair, Karen Floyd, and focuses on conservative women and issues, on February 6. And March 12.
The Garnet Spy posted March 12 in defense of Floyd and womanhood generally, calling SW's owner the likes of liberal casters-of-mud-at-women.
SW replied March 16. They called Garnet Spy's proprietor a bunch of names.
GS riposted the same day, calling SW a liar and accusing him of making defamatory comments.
One thing GS didn't reveal in the current fracas: he's a columnist for Palladian View.
That would have put the defense of that site and its principal in a different light: a somewhat less disinterested one.
In these little intraparty squabbles, there's usually something like that in the mix.

Great last line, except I'd amend it to say that "... there's pretty much always something like that in the mix."
